Once in a great while an incredibly common material is carefully adapted for new uses, works miraculously well in virtually every application and has proven to provide major benefits to the grower, farmer and consumer.

ProSiO2 is non-toxic in any concentration and when properly applied, more effective and efficient than conventional pesticides, fungicides, anti-virals and anti-bacterials. It leaves no residual pollutants, does not wash off in the rain and does not affect plant transpiration, as the material is approximately 3nm thick when properly applied (1 nanometer equals 1 billionth of a meter).

The fundamental ingredient in ProSiO2, silicon is the second most abundant element in the earth's crust. Silicon links up with oxygen to form the most common suite of minerals, called the silicates. Quartz, feldspars, olivine, micas, jadeite, and even most beach sands are all silicates.


ProSiO2 has proven to be an effective antimicrobial treatment for all varieties of plants, from trees to field crops and from vines to ornamental landscape. It is proven effective in not just protecting the plants, but also the fruits and vegetables provided by those plants and related surfaces and environments for processing. Once properly applied and allowed to dry, ProSiO2 is unaffected by to irrigation, and rain, wind or sun, maintaining its shield like effects indefinitely on treated surfaces, unless abraded off.
The jagged crystalline structure of the ProSiO2 film, produces a molecular surface-environment condition that is inhospitable to microbial attachment and well-being, microbes including viruses, bacteria, molds, mildew, algae and fungi. That same surface deters and many types of smaller insects and pests.
Results from a year long study in Mexico where PROSiO2 was used proved 100% effective in eliminating a coffee "rust" infection that has destroyed up to 40% of the Mexican coffee crop.
With an applied film thickness of approximately varying from 2-3nm, depending on method of application and number of times applied, ProSiO2 does not adversely effect plant transpiration. In fact, field studies have shown crop yields are positively impacted by the crystalline shield.
Repetitive applications over same surface areas are not necessary as is generally the case with conventional anti-microbials and pesticides that dissipate with normal environmental events like rain. Only areas of new leaf growth require a further application.
